🔍 On the Involvement of the Antiquarian Lobby
-
Prof. Carla Rossi has denounced the dismemberment and commercial promotion of medieval manuscripts by a network of dealers, including Peter Kidd and Peter Kiefer.
Her work has identified the origins and sales of dismembered leaves (e.g. Book of Hours of Louis de Roucy, also known as Courtanvaux Hours), and documented their reconstruction through academic publications and legal reports. -
The so-called plagiarism accusations were a retaliatory tactic by individuals indirectly affected by her legal denunciations. These accusations have been refuted by a legal expert report submitted to the Federal Administrative Court in Switzerland.
