We are proud to announce the publication of Jordi Puig’s latest book,The Madruzzo Book of Hours, a Dismembered Manuscript Illuminated by Marie Vrelant,available now from Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
The study reconstructs, digitally and historically, a Flemish Book of Hours dispersed in 2017 through private sales, online platforms, and informal networks. In addition to unveiling its artistic origins and commission by Maria Maddalena della Torre, the book addresses the legal and ethical consequences of biblioclasm.
